Service
Flat roofing that lasts 20+ years.
EPDM rubber, GRP fibreglass and high-performance felt - installed to manufacturer spec by trained fixers.
Flat roofs fail because people cut corners on the deck or the detailing. We strip back to good timber, replace what’s rotten, and lay a proper one-piece membrane with dressed upstands and trims. Every flat roof we install carries a manufacturer-backed warranty.
When to call us
If any of these sound familiar, it's worth a call. A free survey will tell you what's actually needed - and whether it's a repair or something bigger.
- Standing water that never drains away
- Bubbles, blisters or cracks in the felt
- Lead flashings at the upstand pulling away
- Water marks on the ceiling below
- Visible tears or rips in the membrane
- A flat roof more than 15 years old that’s never been touched
How we approach flat roofing that lasts 20+ years.
Flat roofs fail for two reasons: bad decking or bad detailing. We strip every flat roof back to the deck so we can see what we’re working with. Any rotten boards get replaced. The membrane is laid in full, dressed properly to every upstand, and finished with lead flashings tucked into the brickwork - not plastic trim pretending to be a seal.
We install three systems depending on the job: EPDM rubber (one-piece, 20+ year warranty, best for garages and small extensions), GRP fibreglass (hard-wearing, walkable, best for balconies and dormers), and torch-on felt (traditional, three-layer, cost-effective on older properties). Each comes with the manufacturer’s warranty plus our 10-year workmanship guarantee.

How long it takes
A standard garage roof (around 20m²) takes two working days. Dormer extensions and larger flat sections run three to four days. Heavy rain pauses work - flat roof membranes need a dry deck to bond properly.
