Roof Proof is a family-run roofing business based in Sunderland, working across Tyne & Wear and County Durham. We do domestic, commercial and heritage roofing, from a single slipped tile to a full strip-and-re-roof.

What we stand for

We aren't the cheapest firm in the North East. We aren't trying to be. What we are is honest, local and properly trained. Every job we take on is done to the National Federation of Roofing Contractors' technical standards - whether the client cares about NFRC or not.

The team

Our fixers are directly employed - not subcontractors we've rung that morning. They've worked with us for years, they live locally, and they take the work personally. When someone on your street asks who did the roof, we want them to be proud to say the name.

We cover Sunderland, Washington, Houghton-le-Spring, Seaham, Peterlee, South Shields, Boldon, Jarrow, Hetton-le-Hole, Chester-le-Street, Durham, Hartlepool and Gateshead. Call-outs are free across the primary service area.

What we believe

A roof is the single most important part of the building. Get it wrong, and everything below it rots. Get it right, and the rest of the house has a fighting chance. We treat every job like it's our own house. That's the whole business, in one sentence.
