Terms & conditions.
Short version: we do good work, we guarantee it, and we don't hide anything in small print.
Quotes
Quotes are valid for 60 days. They're based on what we can see during the survey; if we open up the roof and find additional issues (e.g. rotten timbers), we'll stop, show you, and agree any extra work before continuing.
Deposit & payment
We take a deposit on re-roofs to cover materials - typically 30%. Balance is due on completion. For repairs under £500, we usually invoice on completion with no deposit.
Workmanship guarantee
Every major job carries a 10-year written workmanship guarantee. Repairs carry a 2-year guarantee.
Materials
Material warranties are provided by the manufacturer (typically 15–25 years for tiles and slate). We will supply the manufacturer warranty certificate on completion.
Cancellation
You have 14 days from signing to cancel with no penalty. If we've ordered materials specifically for your job, you may be liable for the material cost if cancelling after that.
Complaints
If anything's wrong, ring us first - we'll fix it. If you're not satisfied with our response, NFRC operates an independent dispute resolution service for complaints against members.
